Moore's Discount Fabric Shop was established in 1972 by H. D. Moore. In 1973 he constructed the building that still houses the business today. Moore's is owned and operated by Edward and Mary Moore Adams. We now do machine quilting for the public and Photo copies as well as color transfers for Memory Quilts (Weddings, Babies----etc) We also have a variety of wedding equipment rentals in addition to a huge selection of fabric ,upholstery , and notions. We have two quilt shows a year. 2002 will be our 30th year in business.

Hello, my name is Mary Moore Adams, I am the 9th child of ten children born to Herman and Stella Lacy Moore. I went to Rosalie Jr. High for 9 years and then on to Pisgah High School where I graduated in 1964.

In 1968 I married Grady Edward Adams. We have two daughters, Debbie and Annette. Debbie married Doug Wilks and has two beautiful daughters, Daley and Daisha. Annette married John Forrest Smith, and in June 2001 gave us our first grandson John Pierson.

I have owned and operated Moore's Fabric Shop since 1978 and have lived in the Flat Rock and Rosalie area all my life.
